The Coachella Valley is home to casinos in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Indio And Coachella. with even more options just outside the valley. From gaming and players clubs to restaurants, concerts, hotels and other entertainment, each property has something a little different to offer. Here's a local look at the casinos around Greater Palm Springs and the surrounding Coachella Valley.

Three properties. One rewards program.
If you live anywhere around Greater Palm Springs, you’ve probably encountered Agua Caliente. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians operates three casino properties in the valley: Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City.
One of the nice things about the three-property setup is that they all use the same ACE Club rewards program. You can earn points at one property and redeem them at another.
Right in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, Agua Caliente Palm Springs is the original of the three Agua Caliente casinos.
The casino is open 24 hours and offers slots, table games, live entertainment, bars and several dining options.
One of my personal stops here is Java Caliente. And yes, the pizza is greasy. But sometimes that's exactly what you want.
The casino is also within walking distance of the Agua Caliente Cultural Plaza, where you'll find The Spa at Séc-he and the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum. The Spa at Séc-he opened in 2023 and sits adjacent to the casino in downtown Palm Springs.
And if you've lived here for a while, you probably remember when the property had a hotel. That hotel is long gone, and there have been plenty of conversations and rumors over the years about what could eventually happen on the site.
Parking: Free parking is available, with valet also available.

New ACE Club members can currently receive $20 in Free Slot Play or $20 in promotional chips. The current offer is advertised through January 31, 2027, subject to the casino's rules.
If Palm Springs is the original, Rancho Mirage is the resort-style sibling.
Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage combines a casino with a 16-story hotel, pool, spa, restaurants and The Show, its live entertainment venue.
It's also home to The Steakhouse, one of the property's better-known dining destinations.
Then there's The Show. Over the years, the venue has hosted a surprisingly wide range of
performers, from rock and pop acts to comedy and special events. Past and recent performers have included Steven Tyler, Duran Duran, Sting and Theresa Caputo, with the current lineup continuing to cover everything from classic rock to comedy.
So if someone tells you there's nothing to do in the desert, you can probably point them toward a concert calendar.
Also nearby: Agua Fuel makes it easy to fill up before or after your visit.
Rewards: ACE Club
The same ACE Club card works at all three Agua Caliente properties, with points earned through gaming and qualifying non-gaming spending.
The newest of the three Agua Caliente properties, Agua Caliente Cathedral City opened in 2020.
It's a little different from Rancho Mirage. You won't find the massive resort hotel here, but you'll find a casino floor, dining, bars and live entertainment, including the Agave Caliente Terraza.
It's also convenient if you're already on the east side of Cathedral City, with Agua Fuel right nearby.
And here's a fun distinction: Cathedral City is the smoke-free Agua Caliente property, while smoking is permitted on portions of the casino floors at Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage.
Rewards: ACE Club
Head into Indio and you'll find Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, which is much more of a destination resort than simply a casino.
There's gaming, a hotel, restaurants, golf, bowling and live entertainment all in one place.
The entertainment lineup is one of the reasons Fantasy Springs gets plenty of attention. The venue regularly brings in artists from a wide range of genres. Recent and upcoming performers have included names such as Lady A, Gene Simmons, Alice Cooper, Celtic Woman, Los Lobos, Marisela and Edith Márquez.
And if you don't feel like gambling, you can still make a night of it. Dinner, a concert and bowling can easily turn into a full evening.
Fantasy Springs' Your Club Rewards program is free to join.
Members can earn points through play and receive benefits that can include monthly Free Play offers, birthday offers, concert presale codes, complimentary hotel stays, dining and retail discounts, bowling discounts and other perks depending on membership level and play.

Here's one of those Coachella Valley geography things that locals know.
Spotlight 29 Casino is in Coachella, while Fantasy Springs is in Indio. And they're basically neighbors.
Spotlight 29 offers gaming, multiple restaurants and bars, and the Spotlight Showroom, which brings in concerts and other entertainment.
The entertainment lineup has ranged from classic rock to Latin music and comedy.
Recent performers have included Great White & Quiet Riot, Night Ranger, Ozomatli and Yuri.
The property has also added a newer parking structure, and a hotel project is now part of the development happening around the property.
There's even a Tribal Dispensary nearby: Red Falcon Dispensary & Lounge.
This one is worth knowing about if you're curious about signup bonuses.
Spotlight 29 currently advertises a $10 Free Play bonus just for joining 29 Rewards, with additional Free Play opportunities available after earning qualifying Club Points on the day you sign up.

A smaller, more local-feeling stop in Coachella
Located on Avenue 54 in Coachella, Augustine Casino is one of the smaller casinos in the valley.
If you've lived here for a while, you may remember the old buffet. It was a popular local stop before COVID-19, but the buffet never returned.
The property has undergone renovations and continues to offer gaming, dining and regular promotions.
One thing that makes Augustine interesting for locals is its rewards program, Augustine Advantage.

Coachella Valley Locals know They're almost home when you see Morongo.
If you're coming into the valley from the west on I-10, Morongo is hard to miss.
Located in Cabazon, Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is a full resort destination with a hotel, casino, restaurants, spa, bowling, golf and live entertainment. It's also conveniently located near the Cabazon Outlets.
And yes, once you see Morongo and then the
windmills, you know you're getting close to home.
The resort currently promotes live entertainment ranging from R&B and Latin music to tribute shows and other events.
Morongo Rewards is free to join, and the benefits go well beyond the casino floor.
