Jermaine’s upbringing in Monterey County was influenced by retired law enforcement parents, instilling in him values of integrity and dedication. His path led him to cheerleading, where scholarships in high school recognized his talent and dedication. He not only led the team with enthusiasm but also discovered a passion for makeup, ensuring the squad was always performance-ready. Driven by his innate love for food. He ventured to Le Cordon Bleu in San Francisco, honing his culinary finesse and gastronomic flair. An internship at a family restaurant in the Palm Springs area solidified his love for the desert and re-sparked his fascination with real estate.
During his internship, Jermaine’s curiosity led him to attend brokers’ opens, donning the role of an agent even before obtaining his real estate license. Balancing his passion for cuisine, he sustained himself as a freelance chef and makeup artist, showcasing his creativity and versatility.
His journey in retail, as a Chanel Beauty Advisor at Saks Fifth Avenue on El Paseo and a sales associate at J. Crew in San Francisco, provided a foundation in customer service and sales. These experiences further enriched his understanding of personal style and the importance of client relationships.

Joseph Ruiz is our Executive Assistant and business partner, playing a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our team. Raised in the Coachella Valley since the age of seven, Joseph’s family relocated from Imperial County with one goal in mind: to create better opportunities for their children. That foundation shaped his strong work ethic and deep connection to the community we serve.
With a background in banking, sales, & marketing, Joseph brings over a decade of experience in the real estate industry. He began his career as a part-time marketing assistant for a local mortgage loan officer team based in Palm Desert, with a second office in Spokane, Washington. His impact was immediate, and within a month, the team recognized how valuable he was and brought him on full-time.
Understanding early on the growing importance of social media and digital marketing in real estate, Joseph became a licensed mortgage loan originator to better support the team and their clients. Following the shift in the industry after 2020, he helped lead marketing efforts to ensure the team remained competitive and forward-thinking.
Before joining our team, Joseph served as a loan officer assistant for one of the Coachella Valley’s top mortgage professionals, gaining extensive knowledge in mortgage lending along the way. His ability to maintain strong professional relationships, combined with his creativity and passion for marketing, is a major asset to our buyers, sellers, & overall success in getting homes sold.
Carmen Gill
Spanish Language Interpreter
Carmen is a professionally trained medical interpreter who provides Spanish language interpretation services to support clear and effective communication for clients who prefer to communicate in Spanish. She assists by interpreting conversations during consultations, showings, and transaction-related meetings to help ensure everyone is on the same page.
Carmen’s role is limited strictly to language interpretation. She does not provide real estate advice, explain contracts, negotiate terms, or represent clients in any licensed real estate capacity. All real estate services, guidance, and representation are provided exclusively by licensed agents.
Interpreter services are provided by an independent professional. Carmen is also a family member of the agent.
