IID just announced their 2026 All Weather Energy Savings Program, and it’s offering $1,500+ in FREE energy upgrades to help lower your heating and cooling costs while making your home more comfortable year-round. No rebates. No reimbursements. No upfront costs.
Yep… actually free.
So What’s the Deal?
This is a public benefits program from IID designed to help homeowners and residents save energy (and money), especially with how extreme our desert weather can be.
Here’s what you could qualify for:
At least $1,500 in recommended energy-saving upgrades
Up to $2,000 if you’re enrolled in IID’s income-qualified READY program
Up to $2,500 for mobile or modular homes
Mobile and modular homes do not require income qualification
The program is first-come, first-served and runs until funds for 2026 are used up.
What Kind of Upgrades Are Included?
Depending on your home, upgrades may include things like:
Smart programmable thermostats (up to two)
AC maintenance or high-efficiency AC motors
Duct leak sealing
Efficient fan controls
Ceiling fans (up to three)
Smart power strips
LED lighting
Door weatherstripping, thresholds, and door shoes
Basically: upgrades that help keep cool air in, hot air out, and your energy bill from spiraling.
Who Does the Work?
IID partnered with Synergy Companies, a certified IID contractor. They’ll come out, evaluate your home, and handle the approved upgrades—again, at no cost to you.
How to Apply (It’s Easy)
To get started:

Or call 1-800-818-4298
That’s it.
Why This Is Worth Doing
Lower energy bills, a more comfortable home, and upgrades you didn’t have to pay for? That’s a win.
Whether you’re a long-time homeowner, recently purchased, or planning ahead, programs like this are an easy way to improve your home without touching your savings.
Pro tip: these programs tend to fill up quickly, so if you’re even thinking about it… apply now and decide later.
