Joseph & I have been making a more intentional effort to show up for our community, so when we heard about Info‑A‑Go‑Go, we knew we had to check it out. Hosted by The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert and held this year at Hotel ZOSO in Downtown Palm Springs, the event felt welcoming the moment we walked in.
Info‑A‑Go‑Go is a true for us, by us gathering. It brings together local groups, clubs, organizations, & nonprofits that support our queer & trans community all year long, not just during Pride month. There was something really special about seeing so many people in one room who are actively doing the work — building community, sharing resources, & showing up for one another.

About The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert
The Center’s mission is simple but powerful: Creating Vibrant Community by Helping LGBTQ+ People Along Their Way. Their reach spans the entire Coachella Valley, from the Palm Springs McDonald Wright Building to The Center Coachella, the Scott Hines Behavioral Health Clinic, & the Community Food Bank.
At its core, The Center focuses on:
Ending isolation & loneliness
Connecting people to resources & community
Enriching our individual & collective experience
That mission really came to life at Info‑A‑Go‑Go.
Why Info‑A‑Go‑Go Meant So Much
One of our favorite parts of the event was simply getting to talk with people — learning about the work they’re doing, why they do it, & who they serve. Hosting the event at Hotel ZOSO, right in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs, made it feel especially accessible & vibrant.
We loved connecting with organizations like Brothers of the Desert, Cake4Kids, IC4IJ, & The Blue Zones Project, along with so many others. I’ve linked a few of the ones we connected with most, but honestly, every group there deserves a look.
(Below, I’m sharing a photo of The Center’s 2026 Info‑A‑Go‑Go participant list — take some time to scroll through it & discover organizations you may not have heard of yet.)
Community Is Built by Showing Up
Events like Info‑A‑Go‑Go are a reminder that community doesn’t just exist — it’s built through connection, conversation, & showing up, even when it’s not convenient or flashy.
If you’re looking for resources, ways to get involved, or simply a place to feel connected, The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert is doing incredible work.

We left feeling inspired, grateful, & reminded of how much good is happening right here in our desert.
